Refund Policy
Last updated: 19 August 2026
The short version. Changed your mind within 30 days? Email me and I'll refund you, no questions asked. Did all 90 days and nothing shifted? Email me and I'll refund you then too, and you keep the book either way.
Changed your mind — 30 days, no questions
If you buy the book and decide it isn't for you, for any reason at all, email me within 30 days of buying and I'll refund you in full.
You don't need to have read it. You don't need to explain, justify, or tell me what was wrong with it. You don't need to have done any of the exercises. "I'd like a refund" is a complete sentence and it's all I need.
This sits alongside the guarantee below. You don't have to pick one, and asking for either will never get you an argument from me.
The 90-day guarantee
This is the one I actually care about, so here it is in plain words.
Do the 90 days. All of them. Every step, every exercise, the ones that feel stupid and the ones that sting. Don't skim it and don't cherry-pick the easy days.
Then, if you still think it did nothing for you, email me at toby@getwayback.co and tell me so.
I refund you every penny. All of it, back to the card you paid with.
You don't have to prove anything to me. There's no form, no evidence to submit, no interrogation. I'll take your word for it. Just tell me you did the work and it didn't do anything, and I'll send the money back.
You keep the book either way. Taking it back off you would be petty, and it wouldn't undo the ninety days you spent.
To use this one, get in touch within 120 days of buying, that's the 90 days plus a month of slack, because life happens and people start late.
How to ask for a refund
Email toby@getwayback.co from the address you paid with, and tell me you're asking for the guarantee. That's it.
You can also request it through Polar, who handle the sale, from the receipt email they send you. Either route works and gets to the same place.
How long it takes
I aim to approve refunds within 2 working days of you asking. Once approved, the money goes back to the card or account you paid with. Depending on your bank that usually lands within 5 to 10 working days, sometimes sooner.
The refund goes back the same way it came. I can't send it somewhere else.
Where I'd say no
I'd rather be honest about this than pretend there are no limits. I may decline a refund if:
- you've asked for and received a refund on this book before
- the request comes long after the windows above, with no explanation
- the file has been redistributed or uploaded publicly
That's the whole list. If you're a real person who bought this and it didn't help you, you get your money back.
Why the guarantee is set up this way
Most guarantees are 30 days because most people haven't started by then, and the seller knows it. That's the trick, and it's a bad one.
90 days is how long the book takes. So the guarantee covers the whole thing. If you finish it and it did nothing, I don't think I should keep your money.
Contact
toby@getwayback.co, I read every message myself.
The Way Back is written by Toby. The sale is handled by Polar Software, Inc. as merchant of record, so POLAR is the name you will see on your card statement, not "The Way Back".
